Pick Unknown 10 Ringgit Low Numbers 0000520 Malaysia Uncirculated

A 10 Ringgit banknote from Malaysia with the slightly low but not extremely low numbers of 0000520 but in extremely Gem Uncirculated pristine condition, firm with fantastic sheen, without doubt, a perfect candidate of PMG's Sheldon Scale of 70*!

Numberwise, nothing to shout or gloat about as it's not that low as in the world of low numbers, it should be as low as possible, ideally with only a single digit as number and with the rest being zeroes.

Furthermore, number 520 has no significance, unlike say 888, which has huge significance in the properity mindset  of the folks in the Far East!

Pick Unknown 5 Ringgit Polymer Banknote Low Numbers 0000520 Uncirculated Malaysia

A 5 Ringgit Polymer banknote from Malaysia with a rather attractive eye-appealing green color, bearing the rather low numbers of 0000520, not extremely low serial numbers actually, ideally, it should have 6 zeroes.

As such, it's not truly 101% bearing a truly low serial numbers & neither does it carry an attractive low serial number as after all, the number 520 is rather huge, not to mention its unattractiveness and without any special hidden meaning.

It bears the obvious stylish signature of the previous Governor. Of course, to stay en vogue, we are looking for similar banknote bearing the current Governor.

Pick M7a MA 000635 10 Dollars Japanese Invasion Money Malaya

A 10 Dollar banknote issued by the Japanese for its occupied territory of Malaya during WW2, a monetary paper that is more known as banana money due to the very obvious & conspicuous vignette of a banana tree on its Obverse.

This banknote bears the serial number of MA 000635 and as archived, this banknote was obviously printed in Tokyo wherelse those with mere Block Letters were printed in Batavia, as history would have told us.

The total amount of such banknotes being irresponsibly printed by the Japs is unknown but the quantity should be very colossal as these were hyperinflation notes with practically no purchase value.

But, ironically, they carry heavy numismatic value today as there is a huge collector base for such banana money amongst the numismatic fraternity all over the world, perhaps, when people becomes well-to-do, they do not know what to do with their excess funds, & thus, plough their excess cash in such collectibles.

((For those who have banknotes for sale, please write in with your phone numbers)).

Pick Unknown AA 1234567 20 Ringgit Ascending Serial Numbers Uncirculated

A 20 Ringgit banknote quite recently issued with the so-called ALMOST ascending serial numbers of 1234557, but bearing the all-important pivotal First Prefix of AA.

Apparently, for very serious numismatists in Malaysia, the prefix of AA is something of great significance as apparently it comes only once in 2 decades when the design of the banknote is changed.

As such, I am extremely interested to acquire the big brother of this note, yes, the proper & legit ascending serial numbers of AA1234567.

Any Good Samaritan out there in the wide cyber world who knows which good soul is in possession of this banknote as wallet-willing, I would like to acquire it to fill up the many empty slots in my numismatic album?!

((Contact me with contact numbers for the above banknote or any other banknotes that you would like to to dispose off, tqvm)).

Malaysia P.46 10 Ringgit Number 1 to 10 Uncirculated

10 Consecutive Pieces of the 10 Ringgit Malaysian note catalogued as P46 by Pick, bearing numbers 1 to 10 & the Prefix of PM.
These are not really scarce pieces of numismatic papers as lots of these have been surfacing all these while & one can see them popping up often in auctions as well as moneyshows.
Some good folks have indicated that the prefix of PM is rather unusual & but what is so special about this prefix of PM as at most, PM stands for 'Private Message', that's all.
Anyway, this set had already been long consigned for auction and hopefully, it will/can be sold, & as such, don't PM to enquire if it is still/for sale.

P/s If they can't be sold, then, they will be sent to PCGS, to be duly encapsulated, authenticated & graded & thereafter, will be marketed via private auction again.

2018 Pick Unlisted RM5 Polymer First Prefix & Low Numbers BL Malaysia

3 pieces of the 5 Ringgit Polymer note with the First Prefix of BL & the rather low numbers of BL 0000222,333 & 777, duly authenticated & graded by PMG, but still Unlisted as per Pick. Wonder what will be the last prefix as the Governor who signed on these 3 pieces is now no longer the Governor? Also, wonder if these 3 pieces will be valuable or otherwise? Maybe, some Malaysian numismatics experts out there could shed a little bit of their expert light on this.
There have been queries from readers as to items featured herein are for sale or otherwise?
Yes, they are indeed for sale.
Any enquiries do send to: Malayapapermoney@gmail.com

P 49a 2007 50 Ringgit Low Numbers AA 0000013 PMG Superb Gem UNC 67 EPQ

A commemorative Malaysian 50 Ringgit numismatic paper that left the printers about 10 short years ago that has been making waves thereafter, purportedly due to its so-called "low mintage" by the all learned collectors, as after all, all if not all of the numismatic collectors are very smart and highly intelligent folks, who normally buy very low and more often than not, sell or rather sold the highest.

Of course the numismatic junk that's featured today is not of a gloatable material as all Smart Alecs know so well, 13 is not a good number; this number ain't gonna bring no lots of luck or prosperity for its associated with that particular Friday of that particular month.

Of course, the ever reliable grapevine has it that some small-time collector living in a rather remote hamlet has the all desired sassy, hottie AA0000001 piece, but apparently she doesn't want to sell despite an offer of 100 hundred thousand Yankee Dollars being dangled in front of her as she prefers to hand it down to her great grand-daughter. Not a bad idea as it could be worth a million dreamy bucks by then, perhaps....

AA,AB,AC,AD,AE,AF 0000018 Not Very Low Numbers RM50 Notes Malaysia

These are very obviously 5 or rather 6 pieces of the RM50 notes that are currently in circulation in Malaysia & which bear the not very low serial numbers of 0000018, after all, NO.18 is not low or rather, low enough. The lowest of the lows should be NO.1 & which asshole might be having the much envied NO.1 pieces if someone or anyone of you out there knows? Do the public a great service by keeping us all in the loop, will you?!

And actually this so-called set of 6 pieces is nothing but a pathetic attempt to create something out of nothing & the simple reason is because the first note with the Prefix of AA is not NO.18 but is a rather unmatching number of 20018 & that is, if you don't mind, twenty thousand and eighteen & that has nothing to do with NO.18, but since, one can't get NO.18 as that one with NO.18 has been issued & already busy in circulation and should now be in VG condition, this piece with the Serial NOs of 20018 should be good enough as the last 2 digits of 18 do rhyme with the rest of the 5 notes, so what the hell, after all, this is not a perfect 10 contest whereby ever freaking thing has to be a perfect 10.

As usual, these notes have already been sent to a professional grading house to be professionally graded, and just for a change, just like one can't have boiled potatoes for breakfast daily day-in day-out, these notes have been sent to "CMC Grading Institution" to be slabbed & the costs are of no concern as money is not an issue and has never been as issue when it comes to everything numismatic. These CMC folks are here: http://cmcgrading.com/index2.php
But unfortunately, this website is not decipherable to an unerudit moron like yours truly, as it's all in Japanese or is it in Greek?! Ya, it's all Greek to me!

Malaysia 2012 $10 First Prefix AA 0050001

***Actually, this is an old story, an old story because this is already more than a year old now and in the world of numismatics, a year is a freaking long time, but there is no harm to feature a banknote that one is already tired of, just like there is no harm putting old wine into a shiny brand-new bottle, sozusagen, right?
Of course, there is nothing to trumpet about as after all what's the freaking big deal with a banknote bearing the First Prefix of 'AA' as every motherfreaker by now would have had a similar note in their possessions unlike the days of yore, when no one is on the look-out for the First Prefixed banknotes, but then, then, most First Prefixed banknotes do not start with the Prefix of 'AA.'
As such, the current First Prefixed 'AA' notes are nothing to gloat about but rather, are meant to be spent when one goes shopping.

Malaysia $1 Solid Numbers ABB 8888888 PMG Super Gem UNC 67 EPQ

***Even though this banknote has been graded as so-called Super Gem UNC 67 EPQ by world renown independent third party banknotes grader, PMG, what actually is there to crow about as after all, there are so many banknotes from all over the universe which had been similarly graded as 67.
If one can strike PMG70, then, there is cause to crow & gloat about as that's after all a perfect 10 score, a note perfect in all ways....
PMG 67 is no big deal. In fact, even scores like PMG 68 & PMG 69 are no freaking big deal.
After all, there is a saying that one must reach for the stars & as such, getting the score of PMG 70 is the mother of all stars to reach & PMG 67 is a plain old ordinary score...........

Malaysia 2011 $10 Serial NUmbers 0000011 to 0000099

***A set of nothing-to-gloat-about 9 pieces of the just released RM10 notes bearing the Prefix of PP & the Low Serial Numbers of 0000011 to 0000099 in its glorious crispiness.
Apparently, these banknotes were printed in the Balkans, Albania to be exact. I thought the newly 'liberated' nations in the Balkans were famous for exporting their young chicks to whorehouses all over the world, but apparently, they are into banknotes printing as well now.
I got lucky, I got these banknotes as usual from my favorite ATM machine along the seedy streets of Chow Kit Road.

Malaysia 1981 $1 Low Serial Numbers 000002

***And this banknote issued around 30 years ago bear the low serial numbers of 000002 in perfect pristine condition, a note that is gloatable to some.
But, yet, really, there is nothing to crow about as this banknote represents all things second best. Folks tend to remember all things NO.1, not NO.2.
Who remembers all the losers in all the US Presidential elections? Likewise, who remembers all the silver medallists of those various Olympics' events?
And who can recall the names of all the 2nd placed 'winners' of the Formula One Grand Prix races?

As such, this banknote is, at best, second best or a very forgettable second best.

Malaysia $10 Low Serial Numbers 0000001 to 0000010

***A set of 10 pieces of the current RM10 Malaysian banknote bearing the first 10 low serial numbers of 0000001 to 0000010.
A set of notes that's quite common but with the impending conclusion of this series, there is no harm in keeping a set for posterity at this late stage of this series.

And there's nothing to gloat about for this low serial numbers set unless of course if one has the ever desirable yearned-for prefix.

Malaysia $50 Low Serial Numbers 0000001 to 0000010

***10 Consecutive pieces of the currently in use RM50 Malaysian banknotes with the Low Serial Numbers from 0000001 to 0000010.
Again a set of banknotes which one shouldn't gloat about as there seems to be a lot of such low number sets.
The most desirable of such low number sets would be the RM5 polymer ones as there are only a few select collectors who have the first 10 low numbers of the RM5 Polymer series. Are you one of them?

***This is the RM50 banknote dated 1999 with the Side-Signature of Ali Abul Hassan bearing the unusually Low Serial Numbers of BJ0000299 in Uncirculated condition.
This has to be one of the most requested and eternally evergreen post-1990 Malaysian banknote and not surprisingly, it comes with only 3 prefixes of BG, BH & BJ and the BG & BJ prefixes did not come in their entirety but only partially.
As such, the quantity available, esp. in uncirculated condition is very limited and now further complicated by the deluge of demand by, not only, various collectors but also from dealers.
Definitely, a pivotal must-have banknote in any respectable Malaysian banknote collection.!
