P 2a Oceania Japanese Occupation 1 Shilling ERROR With Extra Paper

A so-called 1 Shilling defective banknote from a defunct nation known as Oceania under the Japs during World War II as catalogued as P 2a by Pick.
A somewhat unusual note due to the excess paper found at the upper top-left edge & also with the bottom margin of the Obverse shifted down, all the way down, while the Reverse's entire design seems to be rather intact.
There has been quite a number of error banknotes found on JIM notes issued under Malaya, but most of them are not with excess paper or a 'fish tail.'
Apparently, not many Oceania's notes have defects as one seldom do see them either up for sale or been shared online, esp. one with this excess ugly piece of paper.
Above it all, for numismatics' purists, this piece of obsolete numismatic paper is in Uncirculated condition.
And it has yet to be chemically cleaned!

P.32A 1992 100 Ringgit Malaysia Error INK SPILLAGE

Another P.32A 100 Ringgit papermoney from Malaysia with a dramatic 'Ink Spillage' error on the Obverse & this time, all the doubting Thomases & the Senior self-acclaimed 'numismatists' agree that this is a bona-fide error that doesn't necessite a third party intervention in the of form PMG to proclaim that this is a genuine error.

The nodding of heads by the doubting Thomases as such has given this piece of numismatic papermoney some form of immortality, matched only perhaps by The Greatest Leader of the entire mankind, Kim Il Sung's immortal Encyclopedia Of The Immortal Juche Idea, perhaps.

Perhaps, a humongous bronze statue in the form of this banknote should be considered & which should not be considered as a numismatic overkill, after all, in the name of immortality, size does matters!

P.32A 1992 100 Ringgit GHOST IMAGE ERROR Malaysia

An unusual & rather dramatic Ghost Image error with the Reverse design invertedly printed on the Obverse for this 23-year-old piece of numismatic paper, which one thought is impossible or unimaginable to be conceived at the printing mint, but conceived it did, & seen the light of the day, it did too.

But many, many self-anointed numismatic sifus or rather numismatic masters in Malaysia claimed that this is not a genuine error note & that it's a man-made error, and to whoever that man is, let's bow before him & salute him & him & him only for being such a genius for we have not seen a similar genius since Herr Einstein, for what a wonderful farking good job he or she has done numismatically.

And as such, the best 'arbitrator' for this will be PMG, yes, Paper Money Guaranty, & this is where PMG's expert expertise comes in for they are, indeed, the true unndisputed experts in the world of papermoney & to be exact, the world of papermoney grading, separating the bona-fides from the make-believes & distinguishing the gems from the rags.

Malaysia 2013 Error $100 ZA Replacement Without Golden Stripe

***Honestly, is there something to shout about, to crow about, to trumpet about, to croak and to gloat about as far as this banknote is concerned as the fat jury is still out?
Apparently, the Golden Stripe found at the Reverse is missing and as such, this could be the prince of some gloating rights, but then, this could also a 'post-mint job.'
But how to know if it's indeed a 'post-mint job?' Well, the best thing to do is to consult the many numismatic sifus in Malaysia but who is the best person to consult?
Maybe, Sifu & Pakar Numis Steven Tan could be consulted on this in order to make sure that this is no 'post-mint job' as after all, Sifu & Pakar Numis Steven Tan is one of the most senior, if not the most senior, numismatists in town and whose opinion should be invaluable and should carry lots of credible weight.

Malaya $100 Japanese Invasion Money Error Smudged Image

***Collecting Japanese Invasion Money is definitely not my cup of tea as these hyperinflation banknotes that were abundantly issued by the Japs during the 1940s were practically worthless then.

I still remember how worthless they were as I can still remember how my grandmother burnt away 2 truckloads of these worthless pieces of paper in disgust.

As such, these JIM notes had never interested me esp when I noticed that some with Serial Numbers seem to command very high prices. So what if they have Serial Nos as they were hopelessly worthless during the 1940s all the same.

However, today as I was quite free as I am on my monthlong sabbatical leave, I paid a visit to the much talked about very sleazy dawn/morning flea market found at the backlane of Petaling St right in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and I realised only today what an amazing potpourri of items and maybe rubbish to some, are being sold there.

I can bet the life of my tabby cat that even the blue pill called Viagra could be sold here, but whether it is the Real McCoy or not, I suppose you have pop one into your belly to find out.

One old man was selling some banknotes and coins at this backlane. He had lots of Straits Settlements and Malaya notes for sale.

Most looked original & certainly not chemically washed and later pressed or worst still, ironed as one would expect to receive if bought online, but I ignored these British Malaya notes as my pocket is just too shallow to get into such heavy stuff, no, at least not at my age when I am already needing a walking stick to move about.

And yes, I am also getting help from Viagra every now then.

However, I did buy a banknote from that old guy & it's a $100 JIM note but one whose's image on the Obverse had been smudged during the printing process. Also noticeable is its design having lightly shifted upwards.

Since it only costs RM5 for this note which was worth $100 during the 1940s, I bought it, as after all, what numismatic shit can I buy today for RM5?

Malaya 1942-45 $100 Japanese Invasion Money Error

***A bona-fide error 'Banana Note' bearing the value of $100, with print missing in certain areas of the Obverse & dramatic upward & leftward shift of the Reverse.

Even the prefixes are out now of position, due to poor printing, something not very surprising from the, then, incompetent Japs.

However, it's not often that one sees good error issues credited to the Japs' then incompetency with their now infamous banana hyperinflation issues & perhaps, even this banknote with the value of $100 couldn't have bought the despised Jap army private a miserable banana, then.
