Malaysia 2011 $10 Serial NUmbers 0000011 to 0000099

***A set of nothing-to-gloat-about 9 pieces of the just released RM10 notes bearing the Prefix of PP & the Low Serial Numbers of 0000011 to 0000099 in its glorious crispiness.
Apparently, these banknotes were printed in the Balkans, Albania to be exact. I thought the newly 'liberated' nations in the Balkans were famous for exporting their young chicks to whorehouses all over the world, but apparently, they are into banknotes printing as well now.
I got lucky, I got these banknotes as usual from my favorite ATM machine along the seedy streets of Chow Kit Road.

Malaya & British Borneo 1961 $10 Choice UNC

***This must be one of the freshest $10 Buffalo Note from British Malaya that I have ever set my eyes on, so fresh as if it just came off Thomas De la Rue's press yesterday!

If this banknote is actually a young lady, I would surely love to be married to her for better or for worse for eternity! If I happen to be already married, then, I would surely take her as my wife NO.2 or push comes to shove, I will have her as my mistress.

Very sharp corners, very, very crisp white paper and extremely sharp fresh colors with no signs of ageing.

If this note were to be sent to PMG to be officially graded, I will not be surprised if it were to be returned as PMG UNC 67.

But, then, I better not be so cocksure, esp, after the recent incident whereby my Malaysian $500 UNC note was returned as only a mere PMG AUNC 58, something not very surprising due to the very high benchmark set by those American folks at PMG, I suppose.

Malaysia 1981 $500

*** This is a UNC note that was sent to PMG for their professional grading but it was returned graded as an About Uncirculated banknote or rather a Choice About Uncirculated 58 note & further tagged as EPQ - Exceptional Paper Quality.

Well, PMG should know better as they are the real professionals as far as banknotes grading is concerned and if they say the note is AU, it should be AU I suppose, as after all, most dealers have the knack of overgrading their stuff just make an extra dollar.

As such, PMG is being conversative and their gradings certainly hold substance and no wonder their graded notes have been getting high prices at the auction house down south.

Malaysia 2011 $1 ZAC Replacement Banknotes

***So, it's now very obvious that the RM1 Malaysian Replacement banknotes have extended themselves to the ZAC prefix. Wonder if there will be a ZAD Prefix or not looking at how things are going?!

I got these pieces of ZAC from a parking vending machine as change and I quite happy to have these at face value.

These ZAC notes look like UNC, smell like UNC, crisp like UNC but no, they are not UNC.
