Malaysia 2011 10 Sen

Malaysia 2010 $1 ABX Prefix

***A stack of 100 pieces of the current RM1 note bearing the Prefix of ABX.
Of course, the market-leader in the Malaysian numismatic world, Mr Raymond Chang, has the first 1,000 pieces of this banknote and he will be parting them to me upon his return from his trip from neighboring Thailand.
Thanks for helping me so much with my still-infant-stage collection. Where would my collection be without your immense help?!

Malaysia $50 Solid NOs 8888888

***A current-in-use RM50 banknote in Choice UNC condition bearing the always-desired Solid NOs of XX8888888.
A pivotal note for any Solid Numbers collection and a note certain collectors are now trying to 'control.'
And a million thanks to Mr Raymond Chang, the respected numismatic dealer & above all, the market leader in this field, for parting this note to me at the best possibly unimaginable price....

Malaysia $100 Solid NOs 8888888

***An elusive banknote in the form of the RM100 denomination signed by the current Governor bearing the Solid NOs of 8888888 in Choice UNC condition, and a note which has been playing hide & seek with me for a long, long time.
Thanks to my friend & fellow-collector, Kevin from Singapore, who was so kind to sell this note to me & that too at a reasonable camaderie price, I have finally managed to complete my Solid Nos set for this RM100 denomination.
Kevin, no worries, the Kam Heong crab that I have promised is 100% on when I will be dropping by at Temasek to see you and my China doll next week.
For those of you who are still looking for the elusive piece(s) of Solid NOs for this series, good luck to you as this series has already ended!

Haiti 1 Gourde SPECIMEN Tyvek

***A 1 Gourde 'Specimen' banknote printed on the now defunct Tyvek technology from Haiti.
This note must have been issued during the early '80s on the now defunct Dupont technology.
If the affluent Chinese collectors were to come into the picture, surely most of the banknotes printed on Tyvek will rise like hell in value as so far only 3 countries have ventured into Tyvek, with the basket-case Haiti the most prolific of them all......
And the unreliable Tyvek technology has since been consigned to the dung heap!

China 2011 Year Of The Rabbit Stamps

***This was the widely anticipated zodiac Year Of The Rabbit stamps recently issued by China to usher in the Year Of The Rabbit as per the Chinese zodiac calendar.
Its price when sold per sheet has already multiplied many folds and if what Chinese grapevine has been whispering is correct, it is expected that this year's rabbit issue would charter very much higher territories in years to come.
Definitely an exciting issue worth all the waiting for!
